Account Disabling and Enabling
For student and other cash account users:
If your account balance is positive you will be able to use all ICT services including the Internet, email and printing.
If your account balance is zero or negative then you will not be able to use chargeable resources such as the internet or to print but you will still be able to send and receive email.
Adding money to your Canterbury Card account to make it positive will re-enable your account for internet, printing and other chargeable resource usage within 20 minutes. However, by default, if email was disabled then it will not be re-enabled until the next day. You can call the ICT Service Desk during working hours to re-enable your account for email in these circumstances.
